Our service provides customized, easily accessible handbooks that can be perpetually and automatically updated to keep pace with changes in federal and Ohio state laws. Assuming you renew your handbook membership, we'll take care of the work for you from here on out.

As you are completing this survey, please keep in mind that, assuming you renew your handbook membership, this is the last questionnaire you will ever have to complete and the last handbook you will ever have to update!


Here's how it works...

  • Completing the Questionnaire
    We begin by asking you to complete a comprehensive questionnaire about your specific workplace policies and practices. This is how we gather all the details needed to customize the handbook to reflect your organization.
  • Drafting the New Handbook
    Once we receive your completed questionnaire, ERSco works with attorneys at the law firm of Fisher & Phillips, LLP to draft your new handbook.   You receive the handbook draft within 3 - 4 weeks of submitting your completed questionnaire.
  • Reviews, Edits and Final Draft
    You now have an opportunity to review the handbook draft and request any edits you want.
  • Distributing the New Handbook to Your Workforce
    Since the handbook has been written by employment attorneys, there is no need for another review by legal counsel. At this point it is ready to be distributed to your workforce electronically or in print.
  • Keeping it Updated
    ERSco will maintain responsibility for keeping your handbook updated. Because your handbook is housed on our server, we are able to automatically download policy updates whenever changes in legislation demand it. Your handbook remains current and you don't have to do a thing, other than notify your workforce of policy changes!

You can't afford NOT to...

ERC Member Pricing:  The total for the first year is $2,250.00  This includes preparation of the initial handbook based on the answers provided from the questionnaire, one set of revisions to the handbook (assuming the requested revisions are within 3 months of receipt of the initial handbook), and the first 12 months of revisions necessary due to changes in Ohio and/or Federal law starting from the date that you receive your initial handbook draft.  The ongoing cost for maintaining your digital, legally up to date, fully customized handbook is only $375.00 per year.  Should you choose not to renew, you will no longer receive updates to your handbook and your access to the online handbook will be revoked.  However, if at any point in time you wish to re-subscribe you are welcome to for a re-entry fee of $1,000.00 plus the annual maintenance fee of $375.00  An organization wishing to purchase the Employee Handbook Service must be a member of ERC.
